About Our Compost
We carefully craft compost at our farm using locally sourced food waste from our community and a blend of other organic matter such as leaves and wood chips.
We’re committed to compost production not only to improve the soils on our property, but also to redirect food waste from the landfill and provide rich, quality compost to our community.

Diverted Waste Reduces Emissions
Diverting food waste from the landfill and creating compost with it is an effective way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We’re tracking in-the-moment additions to our compost piles and how that diverted waste reduces CO2 equivalent emissions. That means we’re simplifying things to report one number that accounts for methane, carbon dioxide, and other greenhouse gasses.

CO2 Equivalent Emission Reduction Over Time
Every single week, we’re reducing the emissions of carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gasses in our compost operation, represented here by a single number that takes all those emissions into account. Check out how impactful our work has been!
